How do I create a dollar card?
Fund your AstraVest wallet, open the Cards tab in the app and follow the steps to create a card. You will verify your identity, convert naira to USD and top up the card before your first payment.
Where can I use my card?
You can use your card with international online merchants that accept USD cards, including Amazon, Netflix, Spotify, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Meta, YouTube Premium, Udemy, Coursera, the App Store and Google Play.
What are the fees?
Card creation costs a one-time $3. There is no monthly maintenance fee and the minimum top-up is $5. Foreign exchange fees apply to cross-currency transactions, and a $0.50 fee applies when a transaction is declined for insufficient funds.
What happens if a payment is declined?
If a payment is declined because your card balance is too low, a $0.50 fee applies. Keep enough on your card to cover your payments and any foreign exchange fees.
How do I keep my card secure?
You receive a notification for every transaction, and you can freeze your card at any time from the app. Never share your card details or login with anyone.
